And also I don’t get why you hate elves so much and love dwarves when dwarves are the most static race of all, they are almost always the same, they love beer, they dwell in mines, they have that scottish accent and big beards. The only example I can think of where dwarves were different is Dragon Age where they had an american accent and they were more of the greedy merchant race with a caste system. That was kinda cool.

Many games try to put a different spin on elves, for example WoW has the almost matriarchal night elves with their asian influenced architecture, and they certainly are NOT flawless ( which – btw – is also true for Tolkien’s elves.. maybe you should read the Silmarillion? elves are DEFINITELY not always noble and flawless..)

And about the sylvari.. maybe I’m a fangirl, so shoot me, but I’m soooo tired of ppl saying sylvari are elves.. *sigh* they are born from a tree, fully grown, they are the youngest race in all of Tyria, they are certainly not wise and graceful, more like curious and eager to learn, sometimes childish, at least that is how I see them. You say they are the elves because.. ? because they resamble humans but not exactly?

Anyways, the show was okay, it would have been better if Dodge tried to come up with counter arguments, instead of agreeing with almost everything, that always makes a more interesting discussion :P
