What We Did This Week
Celeste: Ultimate betrayal of my body, lv 18 norn ranger
Chris:
•Leveling my Asura Warrior, and currently at level 21 (almost 22).
•Rata Sum, Metrica Province, and Lion’s Arch are 100% complete.
•Currently working on Caledon Forest now.
•I didn’t think it would, but it feels SO different from the betas. The permanence of it. I’m really interested in getting all of the zones 100% complete, finding the puzzles.
•Sharkmaw Caverns = favorite spot in game. Ran through there with a guildy – Cari Mac, and LOVED it. The humour, the jumping puzzles, and the pirate themed (level 40!) karma merchant at the end.

Ask An Asuran
You may be wondering how that person made it to level 80 with just crafting…
While he was using a non-traditional method, that’s now being fixed according to an update from Mike O’Brien, I’ve noticed more and more players gathering and hanging around the tables presumably crafting. Crafting is still an extremely viable way to help your levelling stay on a roll. Start off by picking up two crafting disciplines at a time and try to pick them based on their usefulness to your class so you won’t just be making for other players. For example a Ranger may focus on Huntsman and Leatherworking so they can make weapons for themselves as well as armor and bags. While an Elementalist might focus on Artificing and Tailoring for their first foray into crafting. You may be tempted to save your money and not pick up those harvesting tools. Over time the amount of money you spend on the various gathering tools will certainly come back to you threefolds in the profits you make from either selling them without processing or as a unique item. Plus you get a smidge of experience and it works toward a daily achievement every time you gather.
