WoW Pet Battle #12 — Review: Chrominius and Mini Thor
Apr 2nd
Confession time: I’ve exploded so many cuddly critters into spouts of gore this week that it’s not even funny. Okay, it is a little funny. And awesome.
Land mines, sticky grenades, sonic booms, and waves of fire — I’ve used them all to throw out insane burst damage with my Double Damage team over the past few weeks, and now it’s time to give them an official rating.

WoW Pet Battle #11 — Guide: Beasts of Fable
Mar 14th
We got a lot of new pet battle content in patch 5.2, and we’re doing our best to test the new balance changes with our current pet battle team, the double damage dealers.
But one of the most exciting additions to pet battles in patch 5.2 are 10 epic pets, giant monstrosities that take on your entire team by themselves. These buff bosses are brutal to fight, but each of them has a weakness we can exploit.
I traveled all of Pandaria and compiled a list of all the trick you’ll need to take these bad boys down and earn a Red Panda pet of your own!

WoW Pet Battle #10 — Team: Chrominius and Mini Thor
Mar 9th
Patch 5.2 launched this week, and I’m celebrating a little oddly: playing the nerfed burst damage pet strategy!
Now hear me out before you toss this podcast in the trash. A lot of pet tamers have spent a lot of time leveling up their burst damage pets—trust me, I’ve been killed by enough of them over the past month to know. So this week I want to figure out if a burst damage team is still viable after the big nerfs in 5.2 or if you and I are going to have to bench all our burst damage pets for the time being, and lose the time spent leveling them up.
So hopefully this team can leave nothing but little splatters of pet body parts in its wake.

WoW Pet Battle #9 — Review: Corefire Imp and Molten Hatchling
Feb 28th
I’ve been throwing fire, stealing health, and cauterizing wounds for the last two weeks with the Life Leech team, and now it’s time to cast down my judgment on them. Will they ascend to cute critter heaven or roast in the flames of failed pet hell?

WoW Pet Battle #8 — Guide: Pet Family Perks
Feb 24th
While our fire healers team continues to duke it out (and doing quite well so far!), we’re going to take a break this week and look at the different pet families available to our furry fighters. Every pet falls into a family, which gives him/her/it a unique bonus ability. The abilities aren’t huge game-changers, but they should always be considered when picking your pets for a team. Here’s how to make them work for you.

WoW Pet Battle Crew #7 — Team: Corefire Imp and Molten Hatchling
Feb 15th
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to launch a new pet battle team. The last two teams we’ve tested have been focused on weather effects, but this time, I’m going weather-free! I didn’t say their wouldn’t be a theme though.
This team is all about big self-heals on DPS pets that can bring the pain. I want to be able to swap in a pet based on what will counter the opponents’ pet, and then keep it in there until it destroys its target.

WoW Pet Battle Crew #6 — Review: Pandaren Monk and Gilnean Raven

I was extremely excited when I built the Batman pet battle team to vanquish my foes. But, two weeks later, did these darkness-mongers live up to the hype or fall flat? Here’s my review.

WoW Pet Battle Crew #5 — Addon: PetBattle Teams
Jan 31st
We look into our very first add-on this week, Pet Battle Teams. There are a lot of great battle pet addons out there, and we’ll be looking through them one at a time in between our team reviews. I’m still testing my recent Night Assassins pet battle team, built on the Gilnean Raven and Pandaren Monk, but for now, I want to make sure you take advantage of this awesome addon to let you swap pet teams easily in WoW.

WoW Pet Battle Crew #4 — Team: Pandaren Monk and Gilnean Raven

I’m looking for vengeance with this week’s pet battle team. My first team, the Mechanical Monsters, reached a bittersweet ending in my review. They were fun but way too unreliable to be a true success. So my goal for this week’s team is simple: pick pets that can stick with an aggressive strategy, and pull it off no matter who they’re facing.
My distress call has assembled a daunting team of killers I’ve dubbed the Night Assassins.
